  1. yes i agree with you that SUV is indeed a waste of time. But some SUV like the LRX is one hella beauty…

  2. Lexus RX kah…..I suppose yea, but since it drives so much like a car……I’d always thought “why isn’t it a car then? What’s its purpose of being an SUV?”

Styling, space factor just doesn’t justify the reason to get an SUV to me. I doubt there’s any Cayenne/X5/Range Rover owners who’d do serious off-road jungle tracking except for when promoting it to the media when it’s just launched, and then…that’s it!!

If it’s styling what I want, I’d get a hatchback, either a Golf GTi or Ford Focus, if it’s space that I want, I’d get a midi-MPV that looks cool. Honda Stream, Toyota Wish, Merc B-class comes to mind. Hopefully, the new Proton MPV too will be inclined to these practical and stylish types…and a bit sporty 😉 A Proton, can never be a Proton without Lotus handling characteristic 😀

  3. No no i did not mean the Lexus RX, that would be the Harrier no? Yea it looks kinda good but what I’m talking about is the concept from Land Rover, take a look here :

Well Clarkson once drove a Range Rover up a peak in Scotland. There was another one which was a race between the Range Rover, the Cadillac Escalade and one more which I can’t remember.

A SUV will always handle like one. Drove a Rexton before, it’s scary when taking corners! The GTi is one hella hatckback, that I have to agree. B-class? No no, it looks plain ugly. About Proton’s new MPV, they have been modding the Mazda MPV and turning it into a Proton one. I think they just switched the logo. But it looks good!

  4. O, the Land Rover Concept, lol. Yeah, concepts always look cool, and I attribute its normall cuz of slim headlights and window area, then with such clean lines that looks like they’re flowing through the car effortless. Just like the 2007 Kia Carens which on paper looks cool and modern, but in real world, looks like a badak air.

Yea, I even remembered a tuned Range Rover by…somebody, it raced with an SLK (the old one before the current F1 nose) on grass, and it won. But then again……why would anyone want to race in the jungle? To outrun a cheetah? Again, SUV = phail.

B-class ugly? Oh dear, I must’ve mistaken it being cool becuz there’s a reaaaally hot chick driving it in my uni, lolololol. I do notice the way the line from the headlamp rose in an odd way to the rear lights, but when got girl in front of you of cuz say “I think it looks great!! It definitely is the best looking Merc ever!!” wakakakakak!! Sadly, she has a mat salleh bf 😦

That is Mazda MPV lor, it’s just someone photoshop the logo on the grille, NOT on the rims as well, such a noob giveaway. Dunno why, even Paultan hyped up that image, zzzz. From what a commenter in Paultan said (believed to be a Proton insider), there’s currently 3 mule Toyota Wish, that is, Wish that has modified drivetrain. 1 with Perdana V6 engine, 1 with Campro CPS, 1 with Campro CPS force-induced (not sure whether super or turbocharged). I hope they pick the Campro CPS force-induced to be put into the new MPV ^_^ It also means that we can expect the Proton MPV to be in the midi-MPV class, rather than being a full-sized MPV like Odyssey, Alphard and Estima.
