Ermmm.. Maybe he could get an EJ or an EK? Then plonk in a K20A, if it fits. I saw a Civic Type-R half-cut going for RM20k++.

How bout 06/07 Civic? I think it’s around 90k for a second hand one..

Yeah, those old boxy civic ones. Speaking of which, my neighbor just got a new Civic 2009 facelift. Urgh…

Would’ve liked best if his dad get himself a car, a Camry, Accord, Focus, whatever, while his current yellow Ford Escape 2.0 passed down to my friend The new Ford Escape facelift is just… >_<

adoi, got it for 5k fix 300%. bad move.

wont comment on what car to buy. everyone has their personal preference. 90k is alot for both 2nd hand and brand new. just put aside at least 5% of the 2nd car’s worth for repairs.

1) His Civic is 1989… or 1990. Dunno which generation is it, but yeah, it does look slightly smaller than City. He said he doesn’t mind a hatchback. He just don’t want anything below 1.5L <_<

2) He got that Civic from his relatives for just RM5,000 late last year. To
date, he'd forked out RM15,000 to repair it, and yet, it's still far from tip top. The rear left door is still pretty hard to shut. His radiator recently bocor, and JPJ stopped him last week for dark tinting (haih, gatal sangat nak tint gelap…).

3) A considerable option… will see what he thinks when I meet him next.
